Our proven ability to identify and overcome design inconsistencies and shipping obstacles results in the fabrication of bridge components and simple bridges that is right the first time, helping you avoid costly construction delays. Our welders are certified in accordance to the American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1 and D1.5 welding codes. We provide visual and other NDT testing of welded components in accordance with AWS codes if required and have a full time CWI on staff. Ackerman & Baynes fabrication plant is certified to American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) for the fabrication of Bridge Components and Simple Steel Bridges.
